Please note: This news story may contain information that is no longer current or up to date.

Pre-16 students, parents, schools and college tutors gathered on Tuesday 14 May in the Adams Brasserie to celebrate the wonderful achievement of our pre-16 students.

The awards were presented by Vice Principal James Whybrow, to 13 outstanding and well deserving students who have demonstrated great commitment and determination in their studies this year.

10 Awards were given out for Student of the Year in the following curriculum areas: Art and Design, Beauty, Hair, GCSE, Pre-GCSE, Supported Learning, Motor Vehicle, Science, Travel and Tourism and Catering. An additional 3 students were recognised through Special Recognition Awards.

The evening was a huge success and Pre-16 Manager, Jo Edgerton commented:

This was such a lovely event as it’s an opportunity to celebrate the wide range of talented pre-16 students across the college. We’re so proud of all our award winners who demonstrate why it is so rewarding to work with this cohort of students.
