News: Students add Latin twist to top Nottingham restaurant
Our Hospitality Management students are taking charge at Marco Pierre White's (MPW) renowned Steakhouse Bar and Grill, on Thursday 25th April, for a ‘one night only’ restaurant takeover, ‘Noche Latina’, as part of their degree-level course.
The evening, influenced by Spanish/Latin-American flavours, has been planned and organised by the students from scratch. They have been working hard for the past six months on their business idea, being mentored by the MPW team on everything from advertising and branding to operations and costings.
Working closely with the restaurant’s Head Chef, the students have come up with an impressive three-course menu priced at just £28pp. Tables are available from 6pm‑9.30pm. To book call: 0115 872 0602.
The menu, which will be cooked by Marco’s chefs and served by the students, includes: chicken and chorizo skewers with smoked pimentón allioli; followed by sirloin steak with chimichurri sauce and chunky chips; and Spanish-style doughnuts with chocolate and toffee sauce to finish.
