News: Students’ work features in art exhibition

Please note: This news story may contain information that is no longer current or up to date.

Art students from Nottingham College will be staging an exhibition to celebrate all that is interesting about Notts.

Entitled ‘This is Nottingham’, eleven students from the College’s Foundation Degree in Fine Art Practice course will have their work displayed at the St James Hotel, on Rutland Street in the City Centre, from Monday 25 March for two months.

Course leader Michelle Keegan said: “Each year we task the students to work with a client outside college to expose their work to a wider audience. The brief for this year’s art was concepts in and around Nottingham and the outcomes are vibrant, loud and quirky! We would encourage anyone who wants to see some talented up and coming artists to come along and have a look.”

The exhibition will be open to the public daily and is free to enter.
