Our Dance students had the opportunity to perform alongside professional dancers at Djanogly Theatre, Lakeside Arts, in a show put together by London-based, James Cousins Dance Company.

The group of Foundation Degree and BA (Hons) Dance students spent two intensive days working alongside James and his internationally-renowned team, creating work based on the company’s new piece; Epilogues.

The students were brilliant to work with; hard working, creative and full of energy. They created a great piece of work and performed with great professionalism in the curtain raiser performance.

Nottingham College Theatre and Dance Lecturer, Nicola Burt, said: It was an amazing experience for our students to work alongside such a well-respected professional choreographer like James and at such a fabulous venue.

The students performed with such passion and professionalism and were even congratulated by audience members during the interval. I feel very proud to be working with such talented students.”
