Who we need

We are looking for a candidate with experience of Apprenticeships in Accountancy to join our team, supporting our learners to achieve the skills, knowledge and behaviours of their vocational course. Key duties and responsibilities include:

-Plan, prepare, design and deliver high quality teaching learning and assessment in the workplace

-Take responsibility for a caseload of apprentices and their E-portfolios, ensuring timely completion within agreed and appropriate timescales.

-Ensure KPI’s are achieved such as completing reviews, off the job is recorded and up to date, monitoring of attendance, recording of the learner journey, timely completion, etc.

-Motivate and inspire all apprentices so that they are supported to achieve excellence and are encouraged to achieve their full potential including higher grades.

-Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the employer’s needs are met

What you’ll bring

The ideal candidate will come from industry or have previous assessing experience within Accountancy, with a particular focus on Apprenticeships. You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal and be proactive in organising your workload. Essential skills and experience include:

-Hold a relevant Accountancy qualification at L3 or above

-Hold an assessing qualification or equivalent or be willing to work towards

-Understanding and experience of the delivery and assessment in subject area

-Demonstrate exceptional organisational and planning skills with ability to manage own diary

-A willingness to update own professional development

-Able to work effectively as a member of a team and have experience of successful team working and be committed to a team-based approach
