Held at Nottingham’s Albert Hall, our graduates were joined by over 500 of their friends and family members who celebrated alongside their college tutors, CEO and Principal Janet Smith, our Leadership Team and Governors.
Professor Cillian Ryan, Pro Vice-Chancellor International at Nottingham Trent University and Guests of Honour; Councillor Wendy Smith, Lord Mayor of Nottingham and Councillor Roger Jackson, Chairman of Nottinghamshire County Council also joined us to celebrate this prestigious event.
The ceremony opened with a procession led by Nottingham College Chief Executive and Principal, Janet Smith. She said:
I was delighted to have the opportunity to celebrate with our graduates and their guests and congratulate them in person on their amazing successes. They will remember today for many years to come, and it was a pleasure and a privilege to share it with them.
“Some of our graduates may be planning to continue in education or embark on their first steps into a career, but whichever path lies ahead, they’ve built a solid foundation upon which they can flourish in the future.

My time at Nottingham College was wonderful. During the five years that I have been here, I have received an enormous amount of support from my tutors. To hear that I have even been shortlisted for an award was a shock, and to win it is truly amazing. It really shows that hard work does pay off.
