As part of their visit, they met with our Employer Services Team to find out more about the outstanding work we do on the skills agenda, developing the curriculum in response to employers’ needs, delivering apprenticeships, commercial training, and online learning to train, upskill and re-skill.

Adrian and Ben also toured our training facilities, where we train and develop the next generation of automotive professionals. Our workshops are fully equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment and cutting-edge technology, to ensure our learners have the most up-to-date industry knowledge, and hands-on experience with the kit used by motor industry professionals.

To finish the day, we held a question-and-answer session to explore the breadth of the college’s skills response and our contribution to key local priorities such as healthcare, low carbon, science and technology, and advanced manufacturing
