Course outline

This course is a great choice if you are ready to start your career in the beauty industry and have a passion for making people feel pampered and good about themselves.

It is ideal for anyone wanting to add lash and brow tinting treatment to their current treatment options.

You will learn:

  • Communication and consultation techniques
  • Contra-indications to tinting services
  • Health, safety and hygiene
  • Brow Preparation
  • Complete and eyelash and brow tint
  • Homecare and aftercare

You can expect a dedicated team of lecturers who still work in the industry, so have up to date skills and experience.

This course will be a hands-on learning experience to ensure you get a solid grounding in the main application of lash and brow tinting treatment, using high quality products.

Entry requirements

You must have:

  • Good communication skills
  • A keen interest in the subject area
  • Good dexterity (hand / eye coordination)
  • An informal chat with tutor before enrolling
Teaching & assessment

Practical skills will be assessed when carrying out an eye lash and eyebrow tint treatment on a model and completion of an end of unit test which will be graded pass or refer.

You will also undertake a multiple choice end of unit test.

Other short courses such as lash lifting.
