News: 3 apprenticeships you didn’t know existed!

One of the most common stereotypes is that apprenticeships are only available in traditional industries such as construction and hairdressing. Well, we wanted to let you know that that isn’t the case at all! In fact, there are hundreds of apprenticeships you can undertake at lots of different levels – ranging from entry level all the way through to degree level.

Nottingham College advertise apprenticeships all year round and we regularly have over 100 vacancies on our website at any one time. Here’s a few which are current available to apply for, in industries you probably never knew existed… 

Do you have a passion to work with and support the progression of children? If so this these could be the ideal roles for you. Working with children aged between 0 – 5 years you will get a great understanding of the running of a nursery/pre-school.

If you’re looking to start your career in the pharmaceutical health sciences sector we have a number of positions available at pharmacies across Nottinghamshire. The successful candidates will assist pharmacists in the dispensing of medication and will work towards a qualification in Pharmacy Services. 

Passionate about Pursuing a career in dental nursing? Our Level 3 Advanced Apprentice Dental Nurse vacancy at Sherwood Dental Care will see you work towards qualifications including a Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing.
