Did you know it’s National Careers Week 1st to 6th March? The week is a celebration of careers guidance in education, with the aim of supporting students to make effective choices about their future career.

If you’re thinking about your future career options, or maybe leaving school soon and need to decide your next steps, we have lots of help and advice available.

Over the week we’ll be sharing some insights into some of the ways we help our students prepare for their future careers.

Did you know that here at Nottingham College, courses include employability and study skills to help you develop the wider skills needed in your chosen career? What’s more, our students can take advantage of state-of-the-art facilities which replicate the work place! These include our very own commercial training restaurant, studios, labs, workshops and more.

Our Lecturers are experts in their fields, with a wealth of industry experience between them. They know better than anyone just what the demands of industry are, and they’ll help you develop team-building and problem-solving skills to take with you in your future working life.

Most of our further education courses include work experience, so you get a real insight into your chosen industry. Of course we also offer loads of apprenticeships, which combine learning with earning a wage.
