Course introduction

This course is a great choice if you want to extend your basic waxing knowledge to cover intimate waxing techniques.

You will learn:

  • Communication and consultation techniques
  • Contra-indications to facial treatment
  • Health, safety and hygiene
  • Client preparation for waxing treatment
  • Complete an intimate wax treatment
  • Homecare and aftercare

You can expect a dedicated team of lecturers who still work in the industry, so have up to date skills and experience. This course will be a hands-on learning experience to ensure you get a solid grounding in intermate waxing.

Practical skills will be assessed when carrying out an intermate waxing treatment on a model and completion of an end of unit test which will be graded pass or refer. (Please note you may be asked to provide your own model).

College Certificate accredited through ABT

You must have:

  • Good communication skills
  • A qualification in waxing
  • Good dexterity (hand/ eye coordination)
  • An informal chat with tutor
  • Completion of an intimate wax
  • Multiple choice end of unit test

Other short courses such as spray tanning and brow definition.

Please note you may be asked to bring your own model.

Please ensure that you are wearing all black e.g. black trousers or leggings and plain black t-shirt or tunic.

You may be required to purchase a kit to complete this course. Information will be provided on application.
