Course outline

This course aims to provide a supportive atmosphere for learners with some experience to develop their drawing and painting skills further in a range of media.

Still-life and landscape will be explored and several finished drawings and paintings produced.

Reference will be made to the work of past and contemporary artists.

Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements.

Assessment

Tutors will give regular verbal and written feedback. Learners will be encouraged to set their own personal targets as part of this course.

Progression

There may be opportunities to progress onto other Painting and Drawing courses. The course tutor can discuss appropriate opportunities if you wish further your learning in this subject area.

Additional information

Some equipment will be provided however you are required to supply your own A3 cartridge pad at least 130gsm, a 4B pencil and an eraser (total cost around £10).
