Preparation for College (14 – 16 Level 1)

Course outline

If your child has studied the Entry 3 course last year, this programme may be the ideal progression opportunity for them to further develop the skills and knowledge already acquired.

The course has been designed to support 14-16 Home Educated students to develop your personal and social skills as well as building confidence and develop knowledge in your English and Maths skills. It also aims to build employability skills and provide an opportunity to explore vocational interests with a view to progressing to further qualifications in the future.

You can expect fantastic facilities and supportive teaching staff who will go the extra mile to help you achieve.

You will learn English and maths in a supportive environment, through a variety of methods including fun practical projects as well as more traditional methods. The course consists of English and Maths Functional Skills at Level 1 and a BTEC Vocational Studies Certificate also at Level 1.
