Course introduction

Digital Marketing offers a lucrative and rewarding career with skills in high demand by a whole range of employers.

Digital Marketing is not just about websites or social media advertising. It is about building brands and connections with audiences through online content.

By far the most engaging content you can produce for an online audience is video content. Think how you use social media channels, what catches your eye when out and about or when browsing online. Video content will be the thing that stands out more often than not.

As a digital marketer already in the industry or as a creative hoping to develop your knowledge and understanding of digital marketing this course will offer you the opportunity to learn how to capture video content, edit effectively and apply graphics to enhance the content you’ve created. It will teach you how to capture and edit to voiceover as well as music and will teach you about formatting video for different channels and audiences.

This course will also teach you how to get your content out there once you’ve produced it.

This is an engaging course, putting you in touch with likeminded creatives offers you a great networking opportunity too. What’s more it’s been designed and will be delivered in conjunction with Media Box, video content experts in Nottingham.

Units studied include:

  • How video is currently used in marketing
  • How to plan and storyboard material
  • How to effectively use a camera
  • How to edit your footage
  • How to add text and audio to your production
