Firstly, try not to worry, Nottingham College has hundreds of courses to choose from, and we are here to support you. Come along to your scheduled enrolment appointment where we can discuss alternative options with you, and if needed, make you an appointment to discuss things further with one of our friendly careers advisers. Alternatively, if you’d like some advice on what your options are, please call 0115 9 100 100 where our team will book you an appointment to speak to a Careers Advisor. Check out the website course pages too, to look at options.
Alternatively, you can apply for a course in the area that you think you would like to study. Once you have applied, you will be asked to come along to a drop-in enrolment session, where you can talk to one of the faculty teachers about the course. Every course displays its entry requirements on the website.
If you haven’t applied to us yet, don’t worry, please apply online. Once you have applied, you will either be invited into a set enrolment date of if you apply after 23rd August you’ll be asked to drop into a late applicant enrolment session, where you can talk to one of the faculty teachers. Try and come along at your earliest opportunity as some courses fill up quickly and courses start on Monday 4th September.
Please contact us as soon as possible and we will give you an alternative date to enrol. We are running special events for applicants who cannot make their original date but you must contact us to let us know you still want to enrol. If you don’t contact us we cannot guarantee that your place will be held. Some of our courses are in high demand and fill up quickly, therefore make every effort to attend the original date and time.
No worries, once you have applied you will be asked to come to one of our drop-in enrolment sessions where you can talk to one of our faculty teachers in the area you are interested in
You will collect this at the campus where you are enrolling on the day as long as your enrolment is fully completed*.
*Your enrolment may be delayed if you do not provide your exam results, the correct evidence for fee remission/ fee payment or personal Identification - please make sure you read the the list of what you need to bring with you.
Some progressing students are being invited in to one of our main enrolment events and some will be auto-enrolled, depending on their chosen course. You’ll receive an email either way. If you haven’t received anything by 25th August, please get in touch. You’ll need to come and collect your ID card and your tutor will email you with details about your first week back. You’ll need to reapply for student finance so please get this in quickly to avoid delays to your support.
The enrolment period is the busiest time of year and you may end up in a queue to speak to us over the phone. You can use our Live Chat function on our website and if you really feel you need to speak to someone, try and call us as close to 8.30am in the morning when lines may not be as busy. (our lines open at 8.30am).
