Entry requirements

You must have GCSE Maths at grade 3/D and GCSE English at grade 9-3/A*-D or Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English. You must also undertake an initial assessment. The results of the initial assessment must show that you are ready to study GCSEs but if your results are lower than this, don’t worry, we also offer a bespoke pre-GCSE course so you can progress to a GCSE with confidence.

GCSE Maths AQA 8300 – Three written paper exams:

  • Paper 1 – non- calculator
  • Paper 2 – calculator
  • Paper 3 - calculator
Progression

You could progress onto:

  • A Levels
  • Access to Higher Education courses

Additional information

This course is free unless applicants have already achieved a grade C or 5/4 in the new system. If you are looking to improve to a higher grade the fees are then applied.
