GCSE maths not only gives you the numeracy skills you’ll need for life, it is your golden ticket to apply for other courses, apprenticeships and jobs – having a 4/C or above at GCSE maths is now a standard requirement.

You must have a GCSE grade 3/D Maths or Functional Skills Level 2 and undertake an initial assessment. The results of the initial assessment must show that you are ready to study GCSEs but if your results are lower than this, don’t worry, we’ll find the right course for you so you can progress to a GCSE.

GCSE Maths AQA 8300 – Three written paper exams:

  • Paper 1 – non- calculator
  • Paper 2 – calculator
  • Paper 3 - calculator

This course is free unless applicants have already achieved a grade C or 5/4 in the new system. If you are looking to improve to a higher grade the fees are then applied.
