School Leavers (16 – 18)

If you are still at school, you may have heard that you will be required to stay in some form of education or training until the age of 18. The good news is you have a whole range of options available.

Joining a full time course at Nottingham College is easy - you can apply for courses online in a few quick and simple steps. If you are aged 16-18 at the time of your enrolment, your course is absolutely free. There may be additional costs associated with some courses, for example, hairdressing equipment, catering utensils or fees to pay for trips however we may be able to help with these depending on your individual circumstances.

Taking the next step can be a bit daunting, especially if you’ve been in the same school for most or all of your education. At Nottingham College, we take extra care to help you settle in, meet new people, become familiar with your campus and become aware of all that college has to offer.

While you are here, you will do much more than just study for your course(s). You will spend your time gaining all the skills that employers look for and have fun enjoying all the extra things we offer, that other places don’t.
