Student Guidelines
To ensure that the exam day runs smoothly, students should be aware of a few important guidelines. Please review the guidelines below and arrive prepared.
- Valuables: Students are advised not to bring any valuables to the exam. You will be asked to leave your bags and personal belongings at the side or back of the room when entering.
- Waiting Area: There is a small foyer area available, but it can only hold around 10-20 students at a time. If you're early, we recommend waiting in the sheltered outdoor area until the invigilator lets you in. For those who arrive very early, our City Hub campus is a good option to wait comfortably.
- Toilets and Accessibility: To ensure a comfortable experience for all students, we have accessible facilities. On the ground floor, there is a disabled toilet as well as a ladies' restroom. The first floor includes a unisex toilet for all students to use. There is also a lift to the first floor.
- Entrance and Security: Please note that the doors to the exam building will be locked. Students should not attempt to enter until a member of the exams team allows access. Although you are asked to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled exam time, there may be a short wait before you're allowed to enter the exam room. We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather, as you may need to wait outside briefly.
Ground Floor: Online Exams and Flexible Space
The ground floor is primarily designed for online exams, with seating for 60 students.
Additionally, there is a designated area at the back for students who require a small group setting or for those who need extra accommodations, such as a reader or separate space.
First Floor: Paper Exams
The first floor is dedicated to paper-based exams, with seating for up to 100 students in exam conditions. When the space is not being used for exams, it will be available for training, meetings, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
Our exam spaces are designed with your comfort and efficiency in mind, and we aim to make your exam experience as smooth as possible. We look forward to welcoming you on your exam day!
