Our new Green Skills Centre, based at our Basford campus, provides green and sustainable training courses designed to put Nottingham and the wider East Midlands region at the forefront of the decarbonisation and green skills agenda.

Using funding from The Local Skills Improvement Fund, the college has developed the Green Skills Centre's new innovative provision that is responsive to local needs and emerging technologies.

Current Green Skills Centre courses include qualifications around heat pump systems and solar photovoltaic systems. Housed within the Nottingham Sustainability Enterprise Centre, the Green Skills Centre includes nine state-of-the-art training bays, which cover install and maintenance, fault finding and working systems of solar thermal technologies, air source heat pumps, solar photovoltaic systems and battery storage.

Additional green skills courses currently available include electric vehicle charging, change, waste management, employability skills within Green industries and much more.
