Work Placements

Motor Vehice05

In response to the current circumstances related to COVID-19, we have made some changes to how we work to better support our business clients and learners. — Find out more

Work Placements enable a young person to spend time on an employer’s premises. Among other things, they will be able to observe the workplace, complete tasks under adult supervision and develop the skills and behaviours required in the workplace.

Work Placements can help young people become aware of careers they have not previously considered, enable them to develop relevant occupational skills and help instill the attitudes and behaviours expected at work.

Industries we work with include but are not limited to:

  • Business and Marketing
  • Catering and Hospitality
  • Engineering
  • IT and Administration
  • Automotive
  • Science
  • Sport
  • Travel and Tourism
  • Media and Photography
  • Art and Fashion
  • Performing Arts
  • Hair and Beauty
  • Construction

If you would like to offer a work experience placement to one of our students please contact our dedicated Work Placement team on 0115 838 0972 or email work.placements@nottinghamcollege.ac.uk
