We are the region’s most estab­lished provider of auto­mo­tive train­ing, with cours­es approved by the motor indus­try body: the Insti­tute of the Motor Indus­try (IMI).

Our work­shops are ful­ly equipped with the lat­est diag­nos­tic equip­ment and tech­nol­o­gy, to ensure our stu­dents have the most up-to-date indus­try knowl­edge, and hands-on expe­ri­ence with the kit used by motor indus­try professionals. 

Our wide range of cars, bikes and engine-based projects will allow you to gain expe­ri­ence work­ing on dif­fer­ent types of vehi­cles. This will help you to pre­pare for your future career, by devel­op­ing your aware­ness of work­ing in a typ­i­cal­ly var­ied auto­mo­tive environment. 

Depend­ing on the course lev­el, you will learn all about engines, chas­sis, elec­tri­cal sys­tems, sus­pen­sion, gear­box­es, and all the oth­er ele­ments need­ed to become a vehi­cle tech­ni­cian. We have mul­ti­ple diag­nos­tic sys­tems in use, online sim­u­la­tion pack­ages to enhance your learn­ing expe­ri­ence and the tools for every job. You’ll also have the chance to learn about cus­tomer ser­vice and the impor­tance of good com­mu­ni­ca­tion skills, work­ing indi­vid­u­al­ly and as part of a team. 

We are also proud to offer a range of qual­i­fi­ca­tions, from Lev­el 1 to Lev­el 3 that include the ser­vic­ing and repair of elec­tric and hybrid vehi­cles. These new skills and lev­els of tech­ni­cal knowl­edge are already open­ing up more job oppor­tu­ni­ties for our stu­dents, with demand expect­ed to con­tin­ue to increase in the future.

We are proud to offer a range of qualifications, from Entry 3 through to courses at Levels 1, 2 and 3, which include the servicing and repair of electrical and hybrid vehicles. Our Level 4 master technician qualification allows students to further increase their professional knowledge.
