Our courses are based in our brand new City Hub and cover a broad base and open up career opportunities in the NHS and in industries such as life sciences, pharmaceuticals, environmental health, forensics and biochemistry.

Pre-Access to Science & Nursing (Level 2) – Part-time

You are interested in or currently working in the healthcare, social care or science sector or looking to progress onto an Access course.

Dental Laboratory Assistant - Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)

If you would like a career in dental technology and want to earn while you learn then this apprenticeship could be for you.

Preparation for Access to Science and Health Professions - Part-time

This course is designed to increase your self-confidence and prepare you for the start of your studies through the development of core study and subject skills relevant to the Access to HE course.

Access to Higher Education: Sports Sciences - Full-time

This course is perfect if you want to progress to a higher level of study and ultimately to pursue a career in the sports industry.

Laboratory Scientist - Higher Apprenticeship (Level 5)

On this Higher Apprenticeship, you can choose between two pathways: Chemical Science or Biological Science.

Health and Social Care (Health Sciences) (Level 3 BTEC Foundation Diploma) - Full-time

This course is perfect if you have a passion for, and interest, in science and want to explore degree level study and career options in a healthcare science, nursing and midwifery, social care or any medical profession.

Applied Science (Level 2 BTEC Extended Certificate) - Full-time

This course is perfect if you enjoy all things science, have a passion for problem solving and investigation and a good eye for detail.

Applied/Biomedical/Analytical and Forensic Science (Level 3 BTEC Foundation/Extended Diploma) - Full-time

This course is perfect if you would like a career in a science-related field, and want to take your studies further, perhaps onto a degree.

Dental Technology (BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma) - Part-time

This course will allow you to develop the theoretical and practical knowledge in all aspects of work carried out as a dental technician.

Dental Nurse - Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)

Dental nurses provide essential chairside support and patient care for the dental team. If you’d like a career as a dental nurse and would like to earn a wage while you gain a qualification, read on!

Health Pharmacy Services - Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)

You’ll be earning a wage while gaining an industry-standard qualification. You’ll gain the advanced skills and qualifications needed to become a pharmacy technician.

Health Pharmacy Services - Intermediate Apprenticeship (Level 2)

You’ll earn a wage while gaining an industry-standard qualification. It’s a great way to train as a dispensing assistant so you can support pharmacists.

Laboratory Technician - Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)

You’ll be working as an apprentice laboratory/science technician, carrying out lab testing and providing technical support to scientists/technicians. You could also work at a school or college.

Applied Science (Level 1 BTEC Introductory Diploma) - Full-time

This course is perfect if you like science and want to explore the various science-related careers open to you in the future.

Applied Science (Level 1) (19+) - Full-time
