Studying this qualification you will increase knowledge and awareness of children and young people’s mental health.

You will develop knowledge of:

  • Children and young people’s mental health in context
  • Mental health problems commonly associated with children and young people
  • The impact of mental ill-health on children and young people
  • Support available to maintain mental wellbeing in children and young people

Understanding Children's and Young People's Mental Health (TQUK Level 2 Certificate)

There are no entry requirements for this course and be aged 19 or over.

You may complete this qualification in preparation to apply and work in this industry or to to enhance their understanding of their work environment. Alternatively, you may wish to progress in the subject to a higher level.
