If you have a passion for music and performance and love the idea of using creativity to express yourself, choosing one of our creative courses could hit the right note for you.

Furthermore, choosing Nottingham College as your place of study will enable you to gain vital knowledge and skills that could lead you to a rewarding career.

You’ll have access to amazing facilities including recording studios, 300 capacity theatres, rehearsal rooms, PC and Mac technology suites, three live music performance venues, a keyboard lab, a music technology live performance suite, DJ rooms, a piano practice room and the largest education TV studio in the city.

You’ll also be taught by well-connected lecturers who know the big stars of the industry. For example, our students have had frequent visits from the likes of David Hasselhoff and Robert Lindsay.

If theatre is your passion, we’ve got a 200-seat theatre and a more intimate 80-seat studio theatre, both fully-equipped with lighting and sound. We also have three dance studios, four acting studios, a costume department, a set design studio and a construction workshop.

On top of all this, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to showcase your work also, in one of our many performances. These shows are often visited by industry experts and practitioners looking for the next generation of talent. In 2017, we took this to the next level, as we were the only company from the East Midlands to perform at the National Theatre in London!

Our students have the opportunity to perform in front of live audiences. To find out more, please visit our Music and Performance Shows page.

We offer a variety courses at Nottingham College, ranging from Level 1 to Degree Level.
