News: We’re getting ready for National Apprenticeship Week!

‘Tomorrow’s Skills Taught Today!’ Our Apprenticeships are here to make you Future ready!
Apprenticeships help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge required for a future career and employers to future proof their workforce.

Considering an apprenticeship? You’ll be able to hear directly from apprentices who will be sharing their experiences and answering your questions! You can even come and see us in person at our Apprenticeship Open Evening where we’ll be joined by some of the region’s leading employers, who will be showcasing their apprenticeship vacancies and sharing the opportunities they have available.

Discover how our Employer Engagement Team can support your organisation to recruit, train and up-skill apprentices and unlock financial support and how our curriculums are designed to teach the skills needed for the future.

• Our Apprenticeship Open Evening is returning on Wednesday 7^th February at our Basford Campus. With more employers than ever before, interactive zones, information sessions and myth-busting workshops – we’ve got lots of opportunities for you to explore. Spaces are going fast, so book your place online.
  
  
• Our Schools’ Team are out and about in local secondary schools throughout the week hosting a range of presentations, assemblies and workshops. If you’re a local education provider and would like to book our team for an apprenticeship or T Level session you can find out more in our Schools Hub.
  
  
• We’ll be celebrating T Levels on T Level Thursday! Find out more about T Levels, our fantastic facilities and work placement opportunities on T Level Thursday – you can also meet the T Level Team at our Apprenticeship Open Evening on the 7^th February. 
  
  
• Submit your nominations for our 2024 Apprenticeship Awards! The Nottingham College Apprenticeship Awards will be returning in May, with a brand-new venue. Do you know a fantastic apprentice, employer or champion of apprenticeships? Nominations will be opening during National Apprenticeship Week (More info coming soon).
  
  
• We’re supporting the automotive workforce of the future and proudly hosting the Steer Skills Competition on the 6^th and 7^th of February at our EMTEC Campus!
