At Nottingham College, we work in partnership with employers to create meaningful opportunities for students, support workforce development, and deliver measurable social value. This scheme recognizes employers who actively engage with the college and contribute to our learners, curriculum, and wider community.

Employers progress through four clearly defined levels by taking part in a range of activities. Engagement is flexible, inclusive of SMEs, and supported by a dedicated Partnerships Team.

What Is Social Value?

Social value forms part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and represents the positive impact an organization makes beyond profit. By investing time, expertise, and opportunity into education and skills, employers help shape the future workforce while strengthening their own talent pipeline and brand.

This scheme provides a transparent, college-validated way to evidence that impact.
