Transfer to university-level study at Nottingham College

If you’ve already studied at university or college, you may not need to start from the beginning.

Every year, students transfer to Nottingham College after completing modules, a year of study, or even more at another higher education provider. Depending on your previous study, qualifications, or relevant work experience, you may be able to join one of our university-level courses with advanced standing.

We’ll look at your previous learning and experience to see if you’re eligible for credit or can join a course at a later stage. This process is called Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

Each application is considered individually. We’ll ask you to provide evidence of your previous study, qualifications or relevant experience so we can compare it with the learning outcomes of your chosen course.

Please note that advanced entry is subject to academic approval and the availability of places on the course.
