Theatre Arts BA (Hons) Level 6

Validated by Nottingham Trent University.

This highly practical course is dedicated to helping you develop as an independent practitioner in the theatre arts industry and is excellent preparation for a teaching career in the subject.

You’ll focus on your specialist area of acting, dance or technical theatre.

Our graduates have gone on to successful careers as teachers, performers, production managers, film actors and professional dancers.

We have close links with local arts organisations including Dance4, Nottingham Playhouse, Hatch, Dragon’s Breath Theatre Company and Nottingham Lakeside, giving you plenty of opportunities to work with practicing professionals.

We have excellent facilities for performers at our Clarendon centre, which are used by practitioners across the East Midlands. You’ll have access to state-of-the-art equipment for sound and lighting, well-equipped workshops and dance studios, and sound and film editing resources.

You’ll also have a unique opportunity to gain skills in performance and arts administration through our dynamic learning company, Company12. Graduates and BA students work alongside professional artists and respond to live briefs to create innovative new dance work.

Company12 is supported by professional patrons including regional dance agency Dance4 and leading choreographers Jem Treays and Glen Graham.
