Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Business
You’ll need 5 GCSEs at grades 9–4 (A*–C), including English Language and Maths – both of these must be grades 9–4 (A*–C) or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths, or a relevant Level 2 vocational qualification with English and Maths GCSE grades 9–4 (A*–C).
There are a total of 13 units of which 7 are mandatory and 4 that are externally assessed. Mandatory content is 66% and external assessment is 42%.
The Extended Diploma is a two-year, full-time course that meets entry requirements in its own right for learners who want to progress to higher education courses in business areas before entering employment.
It can also support learners who want to progress directly to employment in job roles in business or business management and Higher Apprenticeships in the business sector.
Students aged 16-18 don't have to pay tuition fees.
