Ceramics — Intermediate at 25 Stoney Street (Level 1)- Part-time
Course outline
This intermediate course will allow you to develop skills learnt on the beginners courses.
It is designed as a natural progression from our beginners course, so some previous knowledge is essential.
Through the 10 weeks, students will build on existing
skills and learn more advanced techniques. You will have the opportunity to explore hand building,
slip-casting, glaze application and decorative techniques. The course will be comprised
of projects spanning multiple weeks that focus on both design and making
process.
You will receive an induction to our well resourced Ceramic Studio, excellent tutor teaching, new knowledge and skills in ceramics, and opportunities to develop your creativity.
Basic materials will be provided on the course and if you want to develop your work further you can purchase art materials at our Art Shop based at 25 Stoney Street.
You can view the fantastic creative works of our students on our Creative Showcase website below.
