A Level Centre

Location: High Pavement Sixth Form 

High Pavement Sixth Form is a dedicated A Level centre with a vibrant atmosphere and friendly and supportive staff. It is a modern, purpose-built campus located in the city centre, right on the doorstep of Nottingham Trent University’s City campus.

Airline Cabin

Location: City Hub 

We’re all about preparing you for industry, and we have a mock airline cabin which gives our students the chance to learn practical inflight skills with their feet firmly on the ground!

Art and Design Studios

Location: 25 Stoney Street 

Our six-story former Lace Mill at 25 Stoney Street is all about our Art & Design courses. Inside, you’ll discover a whole range of amazing spaces, like extensive studios, a print room, a dark room for photography, a 3D workshop, a ceramics workshop, and top-notch digital facilities.

Automotive Workshops

Location: Emtec at Ruddington 

Our automotive workshops have all the latest diagnostic equipment and technology. We want to make sure our students are on top of their game with the most up-to-date industry knowledge and use the same kit used by real motor industry pros.

Centre for Supported Learning

Location: Basford 

The new Centre will be built within the college’s Basford site, itself the beneficiary of a Government grant, back in 2014. This latest grant, totalling just shy of £4 million, represents a significant investment in FE education for those with special educational needs.

Commercial restaurant

Location: City Hub 

Fletchers, our commercial restaurant is based in the City Hub and is open to customers during term-time. The restaurant is staffed by our students and offers the perfect place to put all your skills into practice.

Commercial Salons

Our modern high quality training salons are located at our Adams Building and Wheeler Gate in the Nottingham city centre. The fully equipped salons are open to the general public which means they are the perfect place for our hairdressing and beauty students to learn in a work like environment.

Construction Skills Centre

Location: Basford 

In September 2024, a new Construction Skills Centre is set to be completed at the college’s Basford campus, already home to the region’s largest construction training facility.

Crime Scene House

Location: Basford 

In addition to our state-of-the-art science laboratories and specialist forensic resources, you will also have access to our new crime scene house with blood spatter room and fingerprint analysis equipment!

Digital Media Centre

Location: City Hub 

The Digital Media Centre is one of the newest additions to our City Hub campus. It’s all about giving you some serious training in podcasting, vodcasting, VFX, games design, TV and film production, editing, web and graphic design, and even motion graphics and animation.

Engineering Centre of Excellence

Location: Highfields 

Our Engineering Centre of Excellence at Highfields Science Park offers large workshops with industry-standard equipment for a range of engineering disciplines, including milling and turning (CNC and manual), plus electrical/​electronic engineering, incorporating the latest Programmable Logic Controller and robotics training rigs.

Fashion Workshops

Location: Adams Building 

As well as the host of creative facilities available at our 25 Stoney Street campus, our fashion students use the original lace lofts up in the Adams Building, where textiles heritage meets the future of fashion.

Health Care Hub

Location: City Hub 

Nottingham College has launched a new Health Care Hub at its City Hub Campus to help people pursue nursing and caring careers. The Health Care Hub includes a simulated hospital ward, which provides students with a realistic learning environment that mimics a hospital environment.

Observatory

Location: City Hub 

Our roof-top observatory is coming soon! Situated on the roof of our City Hub campus, learners on our science courses will be able to reach for the stars and benefit from industry-standard equipment in a unique setting that takes the learning experience truly beyond the classroom.

Performing Arts Theatre and Studios

Location: City Hub 

As a performing arts student, you’ll have access to incredible resources. We have a 200-seater theatre with top-notch lighting and sound technology, dance and acting studios, a costume department, a set design studio, and a construction workshop.

Science and Innovation Centre

Location: City Hub 

We’ve invested heavily in our science facilities and our new Science and Innovation Centre at our City Hub Campus is home to lots of specialist equipment you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere else.

Simulated Hospital Ward

Location: City Hub 

We’re investing over £600,000 in a simulated hospital ward, along with a range of additional healthcare training facilities. Our simulated hospital ward is part of our new Health Care Hub!
