Catering and hospitality qualifications can take you all over the world, and we will help prepare you for an exciting career.

Many of our students go onto a wide range of fantastic global career opportunities, made possible with our industry-recognised qualifications.

You’ll train at our brand new restaurant at the newly built City Hub campus.

Legendary chef Marco Pierre White is a big supporter of the College and often meets students. You’ll also get the opportunity to take part in educational visits and maybe even national competitions!

We have strong links with top employers in the sector, so you’ll have lots of opportunity for high quality work placements and work experience.

We work with a wide range of businesses, including: Restaurant Sat Bains with Rooms, MemSaab, Jurys Inn, Annie’s Burger Shack, National Justice Museum, The Ruddington Arms, Kushi-ya, Hilton Hotels, Nottingham Good Food Partnership, Nottingham Street Food Club, Porterhouse by Barlows, Alex Bond, and Great Food and Drink Festivals.

Our hospitality and catering courses at Nottingham College range from Level 1 to Degree Level and Apprenticeships.

  • The Hospitality industry employs more than 10% of the UK workforce: almost 3 million people work within the industry.
  • 29% of people employed in the hospitality industry are under 21-years-old.
  • The Hospitality Sector needs 660,200 more people by 2020 – a growth of 6%.
  • The number of restaurant managers in Nottingham has risen to more than 1800 and is due to increase over the next four years earning up to £29,000 a year.
