City Hub

Our new City Hub cam­pus opened its doors to stu­dents in Novem­ber 2020 and is now in full swing! The City Hub con­sists of an impres­sive six storeys of state-of-the-art facil­i­ties and resources for more than 2000 stu­dents and near­ly 300 staff. Hous­ing our per­form­ing arts cen­tre, our cater­ing and hos­pi­tal­i­ty cur­ricu­lum, our busi­ness, com­put­ing and IT pro­vi­sion, our cre­ative and dig­i­tal media, trav­el and tourism, sci­ence and ear­ly years provision.

We are very proud to say that it’s at the fore­front of voca­tion­al learn­ing and skills devel­op­ment for the future. Even if you choose a course based at one of our oth­er sites, there will be plen­ty of rea­sons to vis­it the campus.

The City Hub rep­re­sents a £58m invest­ment in edu­ca­tion in Not­ting­ham – one of the largest invest­ments in edu­ca­tion in a life­time. We’re so proud to bring it to you and we real­ly hope you love your time there.

The centre has a library packed full of resources and support to help students learn and prepare for the world of work.

Facilities include:

  • Drop-in computers with: AutoCAD, Construction Skills Health and Safety Testing, Memory Map, Microsoft Project and a wide range of other software to support teaching and learning.
  • MFD printer/copier, colour printer and scanners
  • Careers section
  • Equipment loan service (laptops and tablets)

Food and Drink at the City Hub

The City Hub has its own refectory offering a wide range of hot and cold food, drinks and snacks.

There is also Fletchers Restaurant where our hospitality students regularly serve a delicious lunch menu at amazing prices.
