Our Contribution

In joining Nottingham College you are choosing to commit your working life to supporting young people and adults to make the most of themselves, reach their full potential and have an impact on the world.

Everyday you will not only — directly or indirectly – be making a contribution to the achievement of our students’ ambitions, you will also be contributing to the growth and prosperity of our local and regional economy.

Nottingham College is a major contributor to job creation and skills development across our region. We work closely with economic development leaders to help drive economic prosperity by providing training for employers and their existing staff, create new jobs through apprenticeships and through our curriculum we send thousands of people into the job market every year with new, industry relevant and high quality skills. Our curriculum has been developed to meet the skills needs of our local and regional economy and whether you are a teacher or work with our support services you will play your role in ensuring that our future engineers, entrepreneurs, creative designers, health care workers, and much more, find their place in the world.

The City Hub

Our £58m City Hub campus, which is located in the city centre, represents a huge investment in skills and training in Nottingham. Our City Hub sits within the most significant city centre regeneration scheme for many years, next door to the Broadmarsh Centre redevelopment, down the road from Nottingham Castle and a stone’s throw from the Island redevelopment scheme – altogether totaling some £2bn. We are proud to be making our contribution to the regeneration of our city which will no doubt have many positive economic benefits for residents and businesses for years to come.
