Promoting Progression

Chair of Governors Carole Thorogood address a room standing at a podium

Nottingham College offers a workplace in which career progression is encouraged and supported.

We’re proud of our credentials when it comes to the progression of our staff, whether that’s internally, or in their careers in general.

We currently have 94 members of staff in management roles within the College. 79 (84%) have benefited from progression opportunities which have taken them from a non-managerial position into a management role, during their time here.

The college currently has around 40 members of staff on an apprenticeship programme. More than 90% of our apprentices end up securing employment with the college, that’s above the national average.
