Portfolio Preparation: Art, Design and Fashion — Part-time
Course outline
This course is aimed at learners who are aged 19+ and are interested in future full-time study on an Access to Higher Education Course within the Creative Arts.
Working in our well-resourced art and design department, you will have weekly guided practical sessions in drawing, ceramics, mark-making and printmaking. You will explore a range of creative techniques and themes to provide you with an experience of studying in College. You will build a portfolio of artwork suitable to apply for either the Pre-Access course or the Access to Higher Education in Art, Design and Fashion course run specifically for 19+ learners.
The course is designed to help equip learners with the confidence and skills to move towards personal goals and applying for future study specifically for adults returning to education.
You will receive an induction to the Art and Design Department, excellent tutor guidance, new skills resulting in creative outcomes.

Additional information | Please wear practical clothing. A basic range of materials are provided and we recommend you purchase your own sketchbook, which is available at the Art Shop based on site. |
