Course information

NCFE Level 2 Certificate Retail Skills

You must have achieved English or Maths at Grade 2 or above (or equivalent) and the Level 1 NCFE Award in Retail Knowledge.

Assessment methods include: 

  • Written assignments or workbooks
  • Short answer questions
  • Knowledge checks and tasks
  • Practical or scenario-based activities (where appropriate) 

There are: 

  • No formal exams
  • No timed tests 

Assessment is portfolio-based, allowing learners to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding as they progress through the course. Support and guidance are provided throughout to help learners successfully complete each unit. 

You could progress to employment, an apprenticeship or full-time study.
