Our Animal Science provision is delivered from a dedicated Animal Management teaching floor, home to a wide range of small animals including rodents, reptiles and other specialist species, providing students with valuable hands-on learning opportunities.
Our tutors bring over 25 years of combined industry and teaching experience, ensuring students benefit from expert knowledge, strong welfare practice and real-world insight into the animal care sector.
Students also gain valuable experience beyond the classroom through industry visits and practical learning opportunities, including working with larger animals through partnerships such as visits to White Post Farm.
We currently offer programmes at four levels of study including Entry Level 3 Animal Management, Level 1 Land-Based Studies, Level 2 Animal Care and Level 3 Animal Management, with plans to introduce T Level provision as the curriculum continues to evolve.
