Nottingham College delivers around 20 courses spanning Entry Level 3 through to Higher Education, all focused on Education, Childcare and the Early Years sector.
Our teaching team brings over a century of combined industry, teaching and training experience, providing learners with expert guidance and a strong understanding of professional practice within early years education.
Our programmes include Entry Level 3 Education and Care of Young Children, Level 1 Caring for Children, Level 2 Education and Early Years, and Level 3 T Levels in Education and Early Years, alongside our Higher Education provision.
Students benefit from a dedicated Early Years teaching floor, designed specifically for the delivery of childcare and education programmes. This specialist environment supports high-quality learning, practical skill development and professional progression within the sector.

Basford is serviced by numerous major bus routes heading out of the City Centre and into other areas of the city.

The purple line Phoenix Park/Clifton South tram service stopping at the Cinderhill tram stop is less than 10 minutes walk from the back walkway entrance of our Basford campus (located on Babbington Drive, off Bagnall Road).
An alternative tram route is the green line Hucknall/Toton Lane service stopping at the David Lane tram stop, with a 20 minute walk onto Stockhill Lane and the main walkway/entrance road into our Basford campus.

Car parking is available for which parking charges are £4.00 per day and £2.50 for 4 hours of parking (half day). There are parking machines on site or you can pay using the RingGo app.
Parking charges apply Monday – Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. After 4:30 pm parking charges do not apply.
