Nottingham College delivers around 20 engineering and electrical programmes, ranging from entry-level STEM courses through to BEng degree qualifications in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
The provision includes T Level programmes and vocational pathways in areas such as Automotive Engineering and Electrical Installation, designed to support progression into both industry employment and higher education.
Students learn in over 25 specialist classrooms and workshops, including computer suites, design studios and recently upgraded technical workshops. Facilities support disciplines such as electrical installation and testing, welding, machining, fabrication and automotive engineering.
Our teaching team includes around 40 specialist staff, bringing decades of industry experience across engineering and technical disciplines, ensuring learners develop both practical capability and professional understanding of modern engineering environments.

Our Highfields campus is located on the Nottingham Science Park, approximately 5 minutes walk from the stop.
The Toton Lane/Hucknall service stopping at the University of Nottingham tram stop is about 5 minutes walk from our Highfields campus which is situated on the Nottingham Science Park.
Nottingham Train Station is approximately 25 minutes away by car or taxi. For further information on train times please check the East Midlands Trains website.
Car parking is only available for staff and Blue Badge Holders, there is no student or visitor parking on site. Nearby car parking facilities are Highfields Park and the University of Nottingham Lakeside Arts.
The Science Park where our Highfields campus is situated has parking restrictions and is controlled by a third party. You may be fined if you park without a permit in the Science Park area. Nottingham College holds no liability for any parking fines issued.
