At Nottingham College, our Health and Social Care programme is designed to equip learners with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional behaviours required for entry into the care sector. With a strong emphasis on person-centred practice, safeguarding, and effective communication, the curriculum is aligned with current industry standards, regional skills priorities, and workforce needs.
Our staff have a diverse base of experience within the sector and offer practical and specific insight regarding working within a variety of care settings.
We currently have 840 students enrolled in the faculty on courses ranging from level 1 to level 3 for 16-18 year olds and level 1 to level 5 for adult learners, we aim to support learners throughout their academic and professional journey.
We provide learning opportunities that are practical, both within a simulated ward teaching space and through our diverse connections with industry experts and local care providers to give students a range of experience and that are directly transferable in their professional environments.
Health and Social Care learners at Nottingham College are enabled to develop confidence and competence in real-world care environments, fully supporting their progression into employment and higher levels of study.
