On Tuesday 12th May, Basford students were visited by the Nottinghamshire Police and the Nottingham Fire and Rescue Service as part of our Emergency Services Day!
The event took place in front of our new Gateway building, at our Basford campus, where the students got to meet local heroes and find out more about the incredible work the emergency services do in our community. This included tours of emergency vehicles and a look into the uniform and equipment used.
Our Basford campus is home to our Preparation for the Uniformed Services (Level 2) and Uniformed Protective Services (Level 3) courses, which have progression opportunities into Police and Fire & Rescue services where students develop future ready skills with hands-on, practical learning.
A huge thank you to Nottinghamshire Police and Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service for joining us and making the day so memorable!
