Did you know that Nottingham College has a public facing theatre? Alongside the incredible commercial restaurant Fletchers, Nottingham College’s Fletchers Theatre, is open to the public, sharing performances and shows produced and starred in by our very own college students.
Located in the heart of Nottingham city centre, Fletchers theatre has been running performance shows from its purpose built 158-seater space since early 2022. Our theatre is the stage to a wide range of shows created by Nottingham College Performing Arts students, who are supported by faculty staff across a wide range of disciplines including Acting, Dance and Musical Theatre.
Like our Fletchers restaurant, shows will also typically run during term-time only, but we put on many shows throughout the year. These shows usually operate alongside the evening service of the restaurant so you can enjoy a drink at our bar or an evening meal before the show!
During March and April 2026, we have five incredible shows to enjoy, so grab your popcorn and your friends and family, and experience an evening of performance to remember at Fletchers Theatre.
Here are the next three shows coming up:
Pride and Prejudice (With a Difference) – Performed by Year 3 BA (Hons) Acting Students
11th March from 7pm – 9pm
You think you know Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice? Think again! This irreverent take on the classic novel; adapted by our final year degree actors, will provide you with an evening of joy, frivolity and laughter (not to mention the odd sprinkling of 80's pop hits!) In a show that combines elements of Bridgerton crossed with Fawlty Towers, you can't fail to have a good time.
'WILDFIRE ROAD' - Level 3, year 1 Acting (NT Connections)
26th March from 7pm – 9pm
A story about a generation whose future has been hijacked. The whole play takes place on a flight from London to Tokyo. There's a hijacker on board and the flight is re-directed to Siberia and in the process could save the lives of all 416 people on board, as the rest of the world is engulfed in a massive wildfire. It's metaphorical, prophetic and a tale for the most important question of our times - are we going to wake up and address the climate emergency before it's too late?
'DANCING THROUGH HISTORY' - Level 3 Dance
23rd April from 7pm – 9pm
Step into a world where the past comes vividly alive through movement! Dancing Through History showcases the creativity and artistry of our Level 3 dancers as they transform iconic moments and remarkable historical figures into powerful performances. From triumphs and turning points to legends who shaped our world, each piece blends storytelling and choreography to create an inspiring journey across time.
