Emtec are proud to collaborate with Gemini Accident Repair Centres, and we are excited to announce a new partnership with Mac Tools. This partnership will supply toolboxes and tool kits to their apprentices, enhancing their training and development.

The Mac Tools X Gemini ARC X Emtec collaboration was launched to mark the beginning of the innovative partnership.

The first step of this collaboration begins with the launch of the MacNIFICENT Toolbox design competition, encouraging automotive skills, creativity and charitable giving. Mac Tools have generously donated 10 large toolboxes to EMTEC College, challenging the Gemini ARC apprentices with one key task; to repair, paint and bring to life their unique toolbox designs. This project is a great opportunity for the apprentices’ to showcase their artistic vision, creativity and technical skills.

Once completed, these uniquely designed toolboxes will be raffled off with proceeds benefiting various partnering charities.

As a leader in the accident repair industry, Gemini ARC is extremely proud to partner with Mac Tools, a renowned name in high-quality automotive tooling. In turn, Emtec are excited for the growth and future of this partnership.

Dave Sargeant, Managing Director of Gemini Accident Repairs said:

"We are excited about this new partnership and collaboration. The toolbox design competition is more than just a contest; it’s an opportunity for our apprentices to showcase their talents, acquire new skills, and contribute to a meaningful cause by gifting the finished toolboxes to our charity partners and associates. Both the partnership and collaboration bring together something new and exciting, offering something unique and enhancing our apprenticeship programmes."

Mark Henderson, Commercial Director at Mac Tools said:

"We are delighted to be the official tool partner for Gemini Accident Repair Centre’s award-winning apprenticeship programme. We believe it is important for young people starting out in their careers to still be able to access to premium quality tools, to enable them to reach their full potential and complete their work to the highest standards."

Mark believes joining forces with Gemini ARC allows Mac Tools to reach a new audience in the automotive repair industry and further enhances Gemini ARC’s hugely successful apprentice programme. This is a very exciting time for everyone involved. The competition to design the ultimate toolbox to celebrate the launch of this collaboration is just the first step on this journey. The winning designs look fantastic, and we look forward to seeing the the toolboxes transform over the coming months.

Emtec’s role in the competition ensures that the apprentices receive top-tier training and support throughout the process.

Karl Clay commented:

"This partnership is a fantastic way for our students to apply their learning in a real-world context, and we’re proud to be a part of it."
