At Nottingham College, we are proud to work alongside employers who are committed to making a positive difference within their communities. Miller Knight has become a valued partner in the development of our new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Framework, helping to shape a scheme that recognises and celebrates organisations making a meaningful social impact.

As a member of the CSR Framework development panel, Miller Knight played a key role throughout the creation of the scheme.

Working closely with Tracey Swift, Bid and Social Value Manager at Miller Knight, Nottingham College's Partnership Team facilitated a collaborative development process, bringing together employer insight and sector expertise to help shape the framework and ensure it met the needs of both businesses and communities.

The expertise and collaborative approach helped inform the framework's design, assessment criteria, and auditing processes, ensuring it was both robust and fit for purpose.

By contributing to the development process, Miller Knight assisted in creating a trusted accreditation framework that enables businesses to demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility while supporting local communities, education and skills development.

The framework provides a structured, transparent and validated approach to social value and corporate social responsibility. With a real focus on combining engagement that is both meaningful for the businesses and the students.

The framework has now been successfully launched and provides employers with a clear pathway to showcase their social value commitments. Organisations can gain recognition for activities that support education, employability, sustainability, community engagement and wider social impact.

For Nottingham College, partnerships like this are essential to ensuring the framework reflects the needs and expectations of employers while delivering genuine benefits to students and the wider community.

Miller Knight's involvement demonstrates how businesses can help shape initiatives that drive positive change. Their contribution has helped establish a framework that encourages employers to share best practice, strengthen community engagement, and inspire others to increase their social impact.

Working together with employers such as Miller Knight has been instrumental in creating a framework that is practical, meaningful, and valuable to organisations across the region. Their input has helped us launch a scheme that will support businesses in demonstrating their commitment to social responsibility while benefiting our students and communities.

Whether supporting students through industry engagement, contributing to local community initiatives, or embedding social value into everyday operations, there are many ways businesses can demonstrate their commitment to responsible practices.

By joining the Nottingham College CSR Framework, organisations can play a meaningful role in driving positive change, sharing best practice, and contributing to the continued success and growth of Nottingham's students and communities.

Our Partnership Team is ready to support employers every step of the way, making it easier than ever to get involved.
