Severe disruption is expected to the city’s tram network next week (Monday 30th September – Friday 4th October) due to NET staff being involved in strike action.
It’s important that you do all you can to attend your college classes throughout the week. Your attendance now will set you up for your achievement later on so please do all you can to attend and engage in all timetabled sessions next week.
All our sites will be open and onsite services will be available, including our libraries, our cafes and our student support services. All planned evening classes are running but should this change we will let you know.
It’s important to note that trams serving the Highfields campus will not be running after 7am and trams running through the city centre will stop at 3.40pm. Services operating through Basford are open but students travelling south through the city after 3.40pm will need to find alternative modes of transport. There are no trams running on Friday 4th October. Buses are running as normal throughout the week.
If you can’t get to your lesson(s), please speak directly to your tutors who can arrange for online resources to be available to you.
