This summer marks an exciting new chapter for hair and beauty at Nottingham College. As part of our continued investment in modern, industry-leading facilities, we’ll be relocating our commercial salon which was previously on Wheeler Gate, to a brand-new training space, LOOM salon, right here at Adams campus.
LOOM reflects both the heritage of our location and our commitment to providing students with the very best learning environments, designed to mirror the expectations and standards of leading salons across the industry. By bringing our provision onto campus, we are creating a more accessible and aspirational experience for our students, staff and clients.
The new LOOM salon will offer a fresh, contemporary space where students can develop their skills using modern equipment and high-quality products, in an environment that truly reflects the professional world they are preparing to enter.
For applicants, this move is an exciting opportunity to be part of something new. Students joining us this year will be among the first to train in LOOM, helping to shape its culture and reputation from day one. It’s a chance to learn in a space that has been deliberately curated to inspire creativity, encourage ambition and support progression into industry or further study, whether at Nottingham College or elsewhere.
While we recognise that Wheeler Gate has been an important part of our college’s history, this transition allows us to modernise our offer and strengthen the student experience on campus.
LOOM will also be open to clients for a variety of treatments and services, continuing our tradition of offering high-quality salon experience at excellent value.
As part of the launch, we are inviting local businesses in the Hockley and Lace Market area to experience LOOM for themselves with an exclusive 25% discount on their first booking.
Existing clients who have booked in at Wheeler Gate previously will also be able to enjoy a 25% off their first booking back at LOOM.
