Nottingham College’s Art Shop is a one stop shop for everything creative, crafty and arty. Open to both students and the public, it’s the perfect spot nestled in Nottingham’s Lace Market area for anyone to pick up a fantastic range of supplies. Whether you’re searching for items for your course, stationery for work, or materials for your own creative project, the Art Shop offers a wide range of items to aid all kinds of work.
Stocked with sketchbooks in various formats including concertina, cotton rag and Doodle styles perfect for a range of drawing and painting needs. Shelves are also lined with a full range of paints such as Liquitex Basics Acrylics, Winsor & Newton Winton Oils, and Cotman Watercolours plus painting mediums like varnishes, masking fluid and linseed oil.
You’ll find a good selection of brushes, drawing pens including a big Pilot range, Pintor paint pens, and Liquitex spray paints. They also stock haberdashery items like embroidery threads, wool, needles and cutting tools, along with lino sheets, inks and carving tools.
There’s a full range of Conte à Paris pastel and sketching pencils, charcoals, graphite, and a wide selection of papers and cards from A4 to A1. They also offer large format printing up to 60cm wide on a range of finishes. If there’s something you need that they don’t have, they’ll do their best to source it for you.
