Our High Pavement Campus launched a highly successful programme called Strive designed for aspirational students. The programme, led by lecturer Zoe Cutter, aims to support and challenge students, to secure places at the best universities and apprenticeships
On the 21st of February, we celebrated the first cohorts completion of our Strive Programme. 18 students, along with their parents, were invited to the event held in our newly refurbished library space at our High Pavement Campus. The students were even recognised with awards for the best essays.
This highly successful initiative, led by lecturer Zoe Cutter, is designed to support and challenge aspirational students as they secure places at top universities and apprenticeships.
The Strive Programme is geared towards students with an average GCSE grade above a 6.5. It provides specialist guidance, a tailored curriculum, and enrichment opportunities to support progression to elite universities.
We had the chance to chat with essay winners Kevin Nwagwu and Geri Karamihaleva. They shared their insights about the program and the support they received throughout their journey.
