Applications for our September 2027 courses are officially open — and we’ve got some brand-new options to shout about!

Whether you're leaving school, looking to upskill, or thinking about a career change, we have something for everyone. From hands-on vocational courses to academic pathways, apprenticeships, and university-level study, we’ve got you covered.

What are the courses we offer?

We have courses for learners of all ages, abilities and interests. From 14-16 and upwards, here’s an overview of what we offer.

14- 16 options

We offer education for those aged 14-16 who are home educated to supplement their studies, meet new people and achieve their qualifications. These courses are free and delivered at our High Pavement Sixth Form campus.

Further Education courses

Further Education is for learners aged 16-18 who may be leaving school. There are not only loads of different subjects students can choose from, but lots of different qualifications available. You can study a:

BTech

This can be level 1, 2 or 3 depending on your level of study and previous grades and qualifications. A BTech is a more vocational course to study, focusing more on practical sessions and coursework.

A levels

We also offer A levels which are a more traditional and academic qualification you can study. You can choose from a range of subjects that you will typically study over two years and finish with exams.

T Levels

T Levels are another 2-year qualification, but the learning is split between 80% classroom and 20% work placement, giving you experience as well as knowledge in your chosen field. A T Level qualification is equivalent to 3 A Levels so make them perfect to go into employment or onto further study.

Courses for 19+ students

Courses for jobs

These courses are aimed at adults aged 19 and over who may not have a level 2 or 3 qualification, be unemployed or earning under a certain amount annually. Courses are free depending on your eligibility and cover a range of industries.

University Level

University Level courses are and alternative to studying at a typical University. You can study a course working towards earning a full degree. You can study level 4, 5, 6 or your PGCE with us, full-time or part-time.

Community Courses

These courses are generally for more subjects relating to hobbies and are taught at various community venues in and around Nottingham.
